Global Warming Unit for high school and middle school

This unit includes classroom activities to help students understand global warming and its possible effects on human beings. Lessons in the unit provide students with opportunities to study global climate changes, discuss and debate the current arguments for and against global warming and the Greenhouse Effect, investigate the possibility of global warming and the Greenhouse Effect, and present their findings in the form of research reports.

ARM Teacher’s Lounge

This site was created by the Atmospheric Radiation Measurement (ARM) Program, which is part of the Department of Energy.  Many Earth Science type lessons relating to climate change.

This U.S. Government site offers fun and information activities and games on subjects associated with climate change and global warming. Excellent global warming lesson plans for teachers!

Online kids ecological footprint quiz and teacher lesson plans on global warming. The quiz is designed for elementary and middle school age students, but 7th and 8th graders may find it too kid-ish. Site created by the organization Redefining Progress.
